Arlington Ridge Center Playground Swing Set Installation

A lifelong resident expressed strong support for the new swings, praising the Park District as a great neighbor that listens to community needs.

An area resident for over 50 years asked if the toddler slide removed during renovations would also be brought back.

An adjacent neighbor noted a lack of toddler equipment and expressed concern about noise and teenagers lingering late at night.

A long-time neighbor supported the swings but warned about lost green space, parking impacts, camp overcrowding, and traffic safety concerns.

An adjacent neighbor argued that planting five new shade trees would crowd the small yard and block sunlight from her home.

A 30-year neighborhood resident whose kitchen window faces the park raised serious safety and privacy concerns about placing swings 30 feet from her home, citing past vandalism and late-night noise.
